Julie Delpy

Julie Delpy (Paris, 1969) is an actress, director, screenwriter and singer as well. She received Oscar nods in 2005 and 2014 for best adapted screenplay, for Before Sunsetand Before Midnight respectively, nominations she shared with the director of both films, Richard Linklater, and her co-star Ethan Hawke, with whom she also partnered on screen in Before Sunrise and Waking Life. Delpy has an abundance of acting credits that includeKilling Zoe by Roger Avary, Broken Flowers by Jim Jarmusch, co-starring Bill Murray; Krzysztof Kieslowski's Three Colors Trilogy, in particular Three Colors: White, in which she starred; and the TV series ER. Delpy made her feature directorial debut in 2002 withLooking for Jimmy, followed by 2 Days in Paris five years later, and three more films before Lolo. In 2003 she also brought out an album called Julie Delpy.
