Murilo Pasta

Has lived and worked in the United Kingdom for many years, and he received his MA in screenwriting from the London College of Communication.

In 2000 he was nominated for the BAFTA Award for best short film for The tale of the rat that wrote. He has directed several short films that have screened at numerous international festivals.

He is the first Latin American filmmaker to direct mainstream British television drama for the BBC, Channel-4, and Sky Television. Carmo, Hit the Road is his debut feature film.
