Tomasz Emil Rudzik

Born in Cieszyn, Poland, 1979. Grew up in Germany where, from 1999 to 2001, he studied Culture and Theatre and Polish Studies in Berlin. Later, from 2001 to 2009, he studied at the Munich Film and Television Academy.

His films include several shorts, such as: Die Schattenboxer (2001), Flaschendreh (2002), Tote Indianer (2003), Garage Love (2004), for which he garnered several awards, and Der Spaziergang (2005). Desperados on the Block is his feature directorial debut.
