Serbian director Emir Kusturica will preside over the Un Certain Regard jury at the 64th Cannes Film Festival (May 11-22). Two-time Palme d’Or winner, for When Father Was Away on Business in 1985 and Underground in 1995, he has been selected five times in the Cannes competition and headed its jury in 2005.

Kusturica follows in the footsteps of last year’s Un Certain Regard jury president Claire Denis. The official selection for the 2011 Cannes Festival will be unveiled on Thursday, April 14 at the traditional press conference in Paris.
