(see news). The biopic about far-left terrorist and mercenary Ilich Ramirez Sanchez (otherwise known as Carlos) will screen out of competition in its long 5hr30min version, to be shown as a three-part TV drama on Canal+.

Produced by Film en Stock for €14.6m, Carlos received co-production support from Germany’s Egoli Tossell Film, backing from Canal+ and Arte France, and funding from Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and the German Federal Film Fund (DFFF). International sales are being handled by StudioCanal.
