CANNES 2013 Markets / France

Wild Bunch still tops the bill

by

- With six contenders for the Palme d’Or 2013 in its line-up, Wild Bunch’s international sales team has the upper hand on the Croisette

A whisker away from its 2006 record when it handled the international sales of seven Palme d’Or contenders, the Parisian company Wild Bunch will come to the 66th Cannes Film Festival (which begins tomorrow) with six films from its line-up in competition. Over the past 14 years, except for the 2005 edition, Wild Bunch has always sold at least one feature film competing for the supreme award in Cannes: one in 2007, two in 2004 and 2010, three in 2000, 2012 and 2012, four in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2008 and 2009.
