), the screenplay focuses on Vincent, whose strength, reflexes and agility increase tenfold in the presence of water. He has never told anyone. But when he settles in a village and meets Lucie, he falls in love and reveals his secret.

Produced by Julie Salvador for Christmas in July, Vincent benefits from a pre-purchase by Canal+, an advance on receipts from the CNC, backing from the PACA region (where the filming will take place until October 5th, notably in the Gorges du Verdon) and funding from Sofica Cinémage. The French distribution and international sales will be handled by Le Pacte.

Christmas in July recently produced Henri (read the review) by Yolande Moreau which closed the last Director’ Fortnight in Cannes (to be released in France on December 4th) and Le sens de l’humour by Marilyne Canto (in post-production - article).
