Written by Richard Berry and Morgan Sportès, and based on the latter’s eponymous novel (which won the Prix Interallié in 2011), the screenplay of Tout, tout de suite begins at 6am on 17 February 2006. The members of the "Gang of Barbarians" are all arrested at their home. The questioning that follows then allows the police detectives to go back to investigate the beginnings of the kidnapping of "Elie", a young shopkeeper on Voltaire Boulevard, who was abducted, held prisoner for 24 days, and then found burnt alive in Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois. Tout, tout de suite recounts the last days of Ilan Halimi.

Executive-produced by Thomas Langmann for La Petite Reine and by Alain Goldman for Légende, Tout, tout de suite is being co-produced by France 3 Cinéma, Luxembourg-based Bidibul Productions, Belgian outfit Nexus Factory and Paris-based firm Marie Coline Films. Having also been pre-purchased by Canal+ and Ciné+, the feature film is also benefitting from backing by U Media. The eight-week shoot, which will take place in Paris itself, in the Paris region, in Brussels and in Luxembourg, will wrap on 23 May. Distribution in French cinemas will be handled by Mars Films, while international sales are headed jointly by Légende and La Petite Reine.

For the record, La Petite Reine’s post-production line-up includes The Search by Michel Hazanavicius (read the news), Colt 45 by Fabrice du Welz (read the article) and the comedy Les Francis by Fabrice Begotti. For its part, Légende is riding the wave of box-office success generated by Crocodile from Botswanga [+see also:

, and will be releasing Avis de mistral by Rose Bosch on 2 April and La French by Cédric Jimenez on 3 December (read the article).
