Sylvie Pialat, who manages Paris-based outfit Les Films du Worso, has walked away with the eighth Daniel Toscan du Plantier Award, which honours the best producers of 2014. Having already snagged the prize last year – thus becoming the second leading figure (following Pascal Caucheteux) to win this trophy handed out by the Academy of Film Arts and Techniques on two separate occasions – the producer was singled out this year thanks to Timbuktu [+see also:
