Produced by Denis Freyd for Archipel 35 (who produced the Coulin sisters’ feature debut), The Stopover is co-produced by Arte France Cinéma and Greek outfit Blonde. Having been pre-purchased by Canal+ and ciné+, the film is also backed by the CNC’s advance on receipts and by the Franco-Greek co-production support fund. The eight-week shoot will take place primarily on Rhodes, with just a few scenes in France, and the DoP’s shoes are filled by Jean-Louis Vialard (Tropical Malady, Silent Voices [+see also:
