Produced by Arnaud Louvet and Francesca Feder for Aeternam Films, L'ami (François d’Assise et ses frères) will be co-produced by France 3 Cinéma, Rhône-Alpes Cinéma, Belgian outfit Entre Chien et Loup and Italian company Mir Cinematografica. Having been pre-purchased by Ciné+, the film is also backed by the CNC’s advance on receipts, the Languedoc-Roussillon region, the Gan Foundation for Cinema, the Procirep and the Angoa.
