12/04/2016 - The mouth-watering programme of the sixth International Auteur Film Festival in Barcelona is competing with the Málaga Spanish Film Festival, which unspools at the same time

The heart of the Spanish film buff is about to be torn between two different events, as two unmissable rendezvous in the country’s film landscape are being held during the same period (from 21 April to 1 May): the 19th Málaga Spanish Film Festival (read the news) and the sixth edition of the D’A International Auteur Film Festival in Barcelona. These two beautiful cities on the Mediterranean coast will thus be duking it out to try and grab the attention of the media and film enthusiasts alike.

In the case of D’A, we should point out that its programme includes 12 feature debuts, ten Spanish titles and another ten made by female directors. The gathering will be opened by the blisteringly sexy A Bigger Splash [+see also:
