The international sales team of MK2 Films, managed by Juliette Schrameck and headed up by Fionnuala Jamison, is gearing up to head to the Film Market of the 70th Cannes Film Festival (17-28 May) bearing an impressive line-up of 16 titles. At the Film Market, MK2 will continue pre-selling Money & Love by Chinese master Jia Zhangke (in pre-production and being co-produced by MK2), Cold War by Oscar-winning Polish director Pawel Pawlikovski (see the article – currently in production – sales shared with Protagonist Pictures) and the French-Swiss project P.E.A.R.L by Elsa Amiel (starring Peter Mullan), the shoot for which is set to kick off imminently.
