Danish film producer, Peter Norgaard and Denmark’s Teachers Association have come together to produce fifteen five-minute short films by filmmakers who also happen to be children. The children have been given three main themes around which to build their stories, “Friendliness”, “Stress” and “I have two homes”. It will then be up to a jury of five children and four adults to choose the best of the bunch for subsequent screening in schools, libraries and film clubs.
“The UN convention on Children’s Rights states the right of children to express their opinions, and I’d like very much to put that idea into action”, said Norgaard.
