won the Golden Angel Grand Prize, worth €5,000.

Selected in international competition at the young festival, the film was included in a special programme devoted to Swiss cinema.

Presented in last year’s Cannes Critics’ Week, Home, which also triumphed at the Swiss Film Awards 2009, has so far scooped around 20 accolades. In the last 15 days, the film, co-produced by Switzerland’s Box Productions, France’s Archipel 35 and Belgium’s Need Productions, has won three honours.

Released in Germany on June 25 by Arsenal, Home has garnered 12,000 admissions in one week. In Portugal, it has been on release since July 2 (Atalanta) and will be launched in the UK on August 7 (Soda Pictures) and in Spain on September 11 (Pirámide Films).
