People's Choice Award: cast your vote!

02/09/2009 - The European Film Academy has opened the voting process for the People's Choice Award after preparing a shortlist of ten titles.
This year's nominees are Uli Edel's The Baader Meinhof Complex [trailer], Pedro Almodóvar's Broken Embraces [trailer, film focus], Anne Fontaine's Coco Before Chanel [trailer], Saul Dibb's The Duchess [trailer], Ben Stassen's Fly Me To The Moon [trailer], Niels Arden Oplev's The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo [trailer, film focus], Tomas Alfredson's Let The Right One In [trailer, film focus], Gianni di Gregorio's Mid-August Lunch [trailer], Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire [trailer, film focus], and Olivier Megaton's Transporters 3.
Only one of these titles will follow in the footsteps of previous winners, including, among others, Volver [trailer, film focus], Amélie, The Full Monty and Good Bye, Lenin! [trailer].
From September 1 onwards, film fans can cast their vote for the People's Choice Award official website and win a chance to attend the 22nd European Film Awards, which will take place on December 12, in Germany’s Ruhr Metropolis, European Capital of Culture 2010!
