Venice is more than just smoke and mirrors. World famous film actors and entertainers like Milla Jovovich and Shirley Bassey are making their way to the world’s most romantic city for the annual AmFar gala evening, that benefits the American Foundation for Research into AIDS, scheduled for the evening of 5 September. The star-studded event will be held in the 16th century Tese in Venice, the space was recently restored by the Venice Biennale and the guest list reads like a veritable Who’s Who, and includes Gong Li, Francesca Neri and Lauren Bush.
On 7 September, the charity spotlight will be on the Italian Red Cross Gala with guest of honour, John Malkovich.
