Match Factory making sweet deals on Honey

24/02/2010 - Cologne based sales company The Match Factory has just announced a series of sales on the Golden Bear winner of the 60th Berlinale, Honey [trailer, film focus] by Turkish filmmaker Semih Kaplanoglu.

The third part of Kaplanoglu’s Yusuf trilogy following after Egg [trailer] and Milk [trailer] has sold to France (Bodega Films), Spain (Golem), Benelux (Filmmuseum, which also acquired Egg and Milk), Switzerland (Trigon Film), Poland (AP Manana), the former Yugoslavia (Discovery), Greece (Ama Films), Portugal (Atalanta) and Iran (Farabi). Other territories – such as Germany, Italy, the US, Scandinavia and Brazil – are still in negotiations.

The film was produced by Turkey’s Kaplan Film Production in co-production with Heimatfilm.
