), whose shoot has just wrapped, will be sold internationally by French company Films Distribution. The film will undoubtedly make the most of the Film Market at next month’s 63rd Cannes Film Festival (May 12-23, 2010).

Co-produced by Paris-based La Fabrique 2, A Sad Trumpet Ballad is set in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War. It centres on two circus clowns who are in love with the same woman, a dancer, and are forcibly recruited by the militia.
