) has a good chance of doing well at the upcoming Film Market at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival(May 12-23).

French company Pathé International will be there to start sales for This Must Be The Place, produced by Italy’s Indigo Film and Lucky Red, in co-production with France’s ARP Sélection and Ireland’s Element Pictures. Currently in pre-production, the feature will trace a wealthy rock star’s journey to the heart of the United States, as he tracks down a former Nazi in order to avenge his father (a former prisoner at Auschwitz) and make peace with himself.

On the Croisette, Muriel Sauzay’s team will also launch sales for Kelly Asbury’s UK/US 3D animated project Gnomeo & Juliet (in production). Promo-reels will be shown for Dany Boon’s Nothing to Declare (see news – already bought for Austria, Benelux, Canada, Germany, Spain and Switzerland – to be released in France on February 9, 2011); Zep’s animated feature Titeuf, The Film; and Debs Gardner-Paterson’s Africa United.

The company will also continue sales for Julian Schnabel’s Miral [+see also:

, which is still in post-production and is expected to be unveiled at Toronto and/or Venice.

Market screenings organised by Pathé International include Italian director Luca Miniero’s Benvenuti al Sud (“Welcome to the South”, remake of Welcome to the Sticks [+see also:
