Lily Sometimes leads SND’s line-up

03/05/2010 - International seller SND has a diverse line-up and will be hoping for success at the upcoming Film Market at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival(May 12-23) with Fabienne Berthaud’s Lily Sometimes [trailer] (see news). Headed by an attractive duet, Diane Kruger and Ludivine Sagnier, the film will close the Directors’ Fortnight.
At Cannes, Lionel Uzan’s team will also start sales for Philippe Le Guay’s Service Entrance, produced by Vendome Productions in co-production with France 2 Cinéma. This comedy, whose shoot is drawing to a close, stars Fabrice Lucchini, Sandrine Kimberlain, Carmen Maura and Natalia Verbeke.
It looks at the upheaval in the life of a Parisian bourgeois family in 1960 after some Spanish people move into their apartment building, having arrived in France to work as domestic employees.
SND will present market screenings of Cédric Anger’s The Counsel (see news), featuring Benoît Magimel, Gilbert Melki and Eric Caravaca; Hugues and Sandra Martin’s supernatural thriller Stranded (see news); and Giuseppe Capotondi’s Venice award-winner The Double Hour [trailer, film focus]. A promo-reel will also be shown for Olivier Abbou’s horror thriller Territories.
