Francophone films showcased in Switzerland

The 6th Swiss French Film Festival, which aims to serve as a launching pad for French-language productions in German-speaking Switzerland, will run from September 15-19 in the bilingual city of Bienne. Film enthusiasts will get the chance to discover recent French and Francophone productions, most of them unreleased in Switzerland.

This year, director Otar Iosseliani will present his film Chantrapas, which screened at the Cannes Film Festival; Swiss director Jean-François Amiguet and actor Jean-Luc Bideau will unveil Wild in world premiere; and Switzerland’s Jean-Stéphane Bron will be there with Cleveland Versus Wall Street [+see also:
