Finnish animation victorious in Iran

- Three Goats by Finnish animation veteran Heikki Prepula wins best short film at the Isfahan Children's Festival

A Finnish animated film, Kolme pukkia (Three goats) by Heikki Prepula has won the Golden Butterfly prize for best short at the Isfahan International Children’s Film Festival in Iran. The film is Prepula`s adaptation of an old fairytale about... three goats! Prepula has been making animated films since 1965 and has created around twenty of Finland's most popular cartoon characters including Kössi the Kangaroo. Prepula's films are about to break into the Swedish market after Folkets Bio decided to distribute Kolme pukkia and, possibly a number of Prepula’s other films too.
