Dogma hits London

- Danish Film Institute organises two-day event (8-9 Nov) about the influence of the Danish Wave on international cinema

The "Danish Film Institute (DFI) and the Regus London Film Festival are organising a two-day seminar at the National Film Theatre in London. “Exchanging Experience” will run on 8 and 9 November and centre on all aspects of Danish cinema and its highly influential “Danish Wave”.
Guest speakers at this event include some of Denmark’s most successful filmmakers like Thomas Vinterberg (Festen, It’s all about love) and Susanna Bier (Open Hearts), as well as screenwriter Mogens Rukov (Kira’s Reason, Festen) and Henning Camre, the director of the DFI.
Two Danish films will be screened in the RLFF’s Cineuropa section: Susanne Bier’s Dogma Open Hearts and Morten Kohlert’s family film, Little Big Girl. Open Hearts will be released in the UK by Icon Film Distributors.
