Two presidents at BLOC
BLOC, the agency that protects the interests of almost all of France’s independent film industry organisations, has two new joint presidents.
As of January 2003, Alain Terzian (Alter Films) – on behalf of UPF, the French Producers’ Union and Robert Guédiguian on behalf of SRF, the film directors’ association will take the place of BLOC’s current head, Alain Rozanès (ADR Productions) from the Independent Producers’ Union and Jean-Henri Roger of SRF. This is the second time that the Marseille-born filmmaker Robert Guédiguian has been appointed to head the BLOC board, a vitally important association for independent producers industry especially in light of the current industry crisis.
