Tim Robbins and Samantha Morton are to star in Michael Winterbottom’s upcoming film Code 46. The film produced by Winterbottom and Andrew Eaton’s Revolution Films for United Artists, is a futuristic love story about a man who has an affair with a younger woman. The couple are hunted by the authorities when it turns out the woman has been cloned from the DNA of the man’ mother.
Set to start shooting next month in London, the project is written by the director’s usual partner screenwriter Frank Cottrell-Boyce who also contributed to Winterbottom’s 24 Hour Party People and The Claim.
