09/01/2003 - A huge hit in France, Emanuele Crialese's 2nd feature is re-released in Italy tomorrow

Thanks to its hugely successful French launch, Emanuele Crialese’s second feature, Respiro [+see also:

film profile], winner of Critics’ Week at the last Cannes Film Festival will be re-released in Italy on 10 January.
Released onto 100 French screens on New Year’s Day, Respiro got an excellent reception from critics and filmgoers, in the 10 Parisian theatres where it was programmed, 25,809 tickets were sold as of 5 January (a per-screen average of 2,580 tickets). Excellent word-of-mouth has resulted in over 75,000 tickets sold nationwide.
