Does “Everyone love Alice?”

Alle alskar Alice (Everyone Loves Alice) is the only Scandinavian film to have been nominated for a Golden Satellite Award. Organised by the L.A.-based International Press AcademyGolden, the seventh edition will take place on Sunday, 12 January.
Directed by Sweden’s Richard Hobert, Alle Alskar Alice was voted best European film of the year at the 2002 edition of the Hollywood International Film Festival, beating some stiff competition from Pedro Almodóvar’s Hable Con Ella (Speak With Her), Paul Greengrass’ Bloody Sunday, Mike Leigh’s All or Nothing, Julio Medem’s Sex & Lucia and Mira Nair’s Monsoon Wedding. The film was produced and distributed domestically on 4 October 2002 by Sonet Film, attracting some 242,000 Swedish filmgoers. Nordisk Film is handling the international sales and will include this title in the package of titles they will present at the next European Film Market in Berlin.
