(selected in the Cannes Un Certain Regard section in 2007). Produced by Marc Missonnier for Fidélité Films, the film will no doubt be inspired by the castle in Castagneto Po, which was bought in 1952 by the Bruni family and sold in 2009 to a Saudi prince.

The pledge of an advance on receipts has also been made to Reality by Quentin Dupieux, the quirky director of Steak [+see also:

(unveiled at a special screening in Cannes Critics’ Week 2010). Produced by Gregory Bernard for Realitism Films, the feature was pitched by its director thus: "While her father, a taxidermist, guts a wild boar he has killed, his little girl, Reality, notices a video cassette in the animal’s belly. That evening, Reality retrieves the video from the bin. She wonders whether she should watch it. What’s on the tape? What’s in her imagination?".

Also set to receive an advance on receipts is Philippe Grandrieux’s Fièvre (“Fever”). The fourth feature by the director of Sombre, A New Life and A Lake [+see also:

in the Horizons section in 2008). His latest work will again be produced by Serge Lalou for Les Films d’Ici.

Finally, an advance on receipts will go to Philippe Fernandez’s Cosmo Drama, the director’s second feature after A Faint Trembling of the Landscape (2009). It will be produced by Christophe Gougeon for Atopic.
