Set to be launched by Diaphana in French theatres on May 18, the feature has been pre-bought by at least 20 territories including, in Europe, the Baltic countries, Spain, Switzerland, Benelux, Greece, Portugal, Romania, Turkey, the CIS countries, German-speaking Europe and the former Yugoslavia.

In the official selection, Wild Bunch will be pinning its hopes on French director Michel Hazanavicius’s The Artist [trailer, film focus] (see news), out of competition; and a special screening of Brit director Michael Radford’s documentary Michel Petrucciani, co-produced by France, Germany and Italy.

Wild Bunch will also sell two titles presented out of competition in International Critics’ Week: French helmer Valérie Donzelli’s Declaration of War [trailer] (see news), which will open the selection; and Jonathan Caouette’s US/French/Belgian co-production Walk Away Renée [trailer].
