LUFF returns with Horrid Henry

LUFF returns with Horrid Henry25/05/2011 - Nick Moore’s Horrid Henry: The Movie will be one of the many highlights of this year’s London UK Film Focus (LUFF, June 27-30). The annual event, organised by Film London and with participation from the British Film Institute (BFI), will host 120 international film buyers and festival directors this year.

Horrid Henry is produced by Vertigo Films and Novel Entertainment and is represented by Protagonist Pictures.

Buyers from across the world will watch 50 new British films. Other premieres at this year’s even include Nirpal Bhogal’s Sket starring Ashley Walters and sold by AV Pictures; and Dana Lustig’s A Thousand Kisses Deep that stars Dougray Scott, Emelia Fox and Jodie Whittaker and is presented by Goldcrest Films International.

Films that are part of LUFF’s Breakthrough strand include Craig ViveirosGhosted, starring John Lynch (Sliding Doors) and Martin Compston (The Disappearance of Alice Creed [trailer]); Johnny DaukesActs of Godfrey, starring Simon Callow (Four Weddings and a Funeral); and the documentaries Way of the Morris, directed by Tim Plester and Rob Curry, and The British Guide to Showing Off by Jes Benstock.

Apart from Film London and the BFI, LUFF is produced in partnership with the Mayor of London, UK Trade & Investment and Film Export UK. It is the only event dedicated to supporting the export of new UK films and UK film companies.
