New correspondent for the Nordic and Baltic countries

Cineuropa has appointed Danish journalist Jorn Rossing Jensen new correspondent for the Nordic and Baltic countries, to succeed Annika Pham, who left after nine years. Rossing is also Nordic correspondent for Europe's leading trade, Screen International.

An educated journalist, former culture editor of a leading newspaper and head of information and programming at the Concert Hall Aarhus, Rossing joined Screen in 1974 to build up its Scandinavian coverage.

He was senior editor, Scandinavian and East European bureau chief for Moving Pictures International between 1990-2004, also writing for Variety (1999-2004) and Nordic Film News (1999-2007).

Rossing, who returned to Screen in 2006, has received the Order of the Finnish Lion from the Finnish President and the Playing Faun award from the City of Haugesund, home of the Norwegian International Film Festival.
