Shooting starts on Corsicato’s plastic surgery comedy

film profile]), Il Volto di Un'Altra (“The Face of Another”), which started shooting yesterday.
This biting comedy about the excesses of our image-obsessed culture is produced by Tilde Corsi and Gianni Romoli for R&C, in collaboration with RAI Cinema and with backing from the Ministry of Culture and BLS (Business Location Suedtirol).
Co-scripted by the Neapolitan director, Monica Rametta and Romoli, the film is set in a smart cosmetic surgery clinic in the Tyrol Mountains, where the two protagonists will meet some odd characters.
''With a humorous gaze, I see the characters in the story as a reflection of the modern world", commented Corsicato. "The relationship between reality and fiction is completely overturned. The faker you are, the more credible you are''.
The cast also includes Lino Guanciale, Iaia Forte and Angela Goodwin. The film is lensed by DoP Italo Petriccione (Gabriele Salvatores’s long-time collaborator) and edited by Cristiano Trovaglioli. Production design is by Andrea Crisanti and costumes by Roberto Chiocchi.
Shooting will wrap in Rome in July.
