ICAA allocates just under €30m for amortisation of films

The Institute of Film and Audiovisual Arts (ICAA) has announced the first selection of films to receive amortisation funding, which is by far the largest financial subsidy of all those granted by Spain’s main public film body.

€29.35m has been allocated out of a total of €49m in this funding line’s budget. The recipients of the rest of the funding will be announced over the course of the year.

A total of 76 films will receive funding, of which only one has obtained the maximum amount set at €1m: Juan José Campanella’s Spanish/Argentinean co-production The Secret In Their Eyes [+see also:
