Arnaud des Pallières opens the Marseilles FID with Poussières d’Amérique

Thirty-two worldwide and international premieres feature on the menu of the 22nd FID Marseille (Marseilles International Documentary Festival) which from 6-11 July will serve up a huge programme of 150 films. Now expanded to cover a great diversity of styles and mixing fiction with documentaries, the event will be opened by Poussières d’Amérique (“American Dust”) by Arnaud des Pallières. Also noteworthy are the offerings in several parallel sections, such as Correspondance Jonas Mekas by Spain’s Jose Luis Guerin, Dell’Avventura by Italy’s Romano Guelfi, the First World War movie L’altra faccia della spirale by his countryman Giacconi Riccardo, the Swiss film Marcel Ophüls et Jean-Luc Godard: la rencontre de Saint-Gervais by the Frédéric Choffat-Vincent Lowy duo, Portuguese production A Zona by Sandro Aguilar as well as a short by Sweden’s Ruben Ostlund : Incident by a Bank.
