21/03/2012 - Tonino Guerra, the poet and screenwriter from Emilia-Romagna who has worked with so many directors, died this morning. He had turned 92 on March 16.
The masters of cinema with whom he worked include his great friend Federico Fellini (Amarcord, And the Ship Sails On, Ginger and Fred), MichelangeloAntonioni (The Adventure, Red Desert, Zabriskie Point), Andrej Tarkovskij (Nostalghia), Theodoros Angelopoulos (Il volo, Il passo sospeso della cicogna, La polvere del tempo), i fratelli Taviani (Kaos), Francesco Rosi (Three Brothers), Vittorio De Sica ( Marriage Italian-style, Sunflower), Elio Petri (The Tenth Victim), Mario Monicelli (Caro Michele, Il male oscuro).
