by Media Desk France
16/04/2012 - On the occasion of Denmark’s EU presidency, a conference on the union’s European cultural project for 2014-2020 and its impact on the future of cultural politics in Europe will be held on June 7 and 8, 2012, at the Herning Contemporary Art Museum in Denmark.
The conference will look at the diversity of national and regional cultural politics, and their articulation in view of the future Creative Europe 2014-2020 programme and future structural funds. Also in the programme will be a reflexion on European funds and programmes in light of the UNESCO convention on cultural diversity.
The conference will hold about 20 themed workshops for professionals from the cultural sector, political decision-makers and administrators, artists, researchers, NGO representatives, and journalists.
Work produced as part of the workshops will be brought together by an international working group in charge of producing a series of recommendations at the end of the conference.
