- Anders Nilsson directs The Third Wave, the 3rd feature about the adventures of a cop played by Jacok Eklund

Currently on location in Trollhättan, western Sweden, Den Tredje Vågen (The third Wave) by Swedish director Anders Nilsson, is also the third film featuring a police officer called Johan Falk. The film is scheduled to wrap on 23 May. Nilsson's earlier Johan Falk titles were Noll tolerans (Zero Tolerance), also his 1999 feature debut, and Livvakterna (Executive Protection- 2001), which went on to become the second most successful Swedish film of the year after Jalla! Jalla!.
In the English-language The Third Wave, Falk, who’s been unemployed for a year and is trying to move with his family to the countryside, is given a exciting new mission that takes him across Europe. The film stars Jacok Eklund, Marie Richardson and Lennart Hjulström, and Britain’s Nicholas Farrell (Charlotte Gray) and Ben Pullen (An Ideal Husband). Produced by Sonet Film and Film I Väst. The Third Wave is scheduled for release in Sweden in the autumn.
