Five Italian films selected in Munich

27/06/2012 - Five Italian films are part of the Munich FilmFest’s programme, the festival’s 30th edition will be held from the 29th of June to the 7th of July 2012.
Representing Italy in Germany’s second most important festival will be Terraferma [trailer, film focus] by Emanuele Crialese (photo) in the CineMasters category; The last man on earth [trailer], the acclaimed first feature by director Gianni Pacinotti, in the CineVision category; the award wining Shun Li and the poet [trailer, film focus] by Andrea Segre in Spotlight; Là-bas – a criminal education [trailer, film focus] by Guido Lombardi, winner of the Leone del Futuro (Lion of the Future) for the best first feature in Venice and of the Flash Forward Award at the Busan International Film Festival; and Tahrir Liberation Square [trailer] by Stefano Savona, David di Donatello’s documentary on the Egyptian revolution which won the prize for best documentary in the International Independents section.
The films, whose presence in Monaco is coordinated by the Istituto Luce-Cinecittà in collaboration with ICE – Agenzia for the promotion abroad and the internationalization of Italian films, they will all be screened as the German premiere.
