Alexandre Castagnetti starts shooting Love Is In The Air

23/07/2012 - Last week, shooting started on Alexandre Castagnetti’s first feature, Love Is In The Air (Amour et turbulences), a romantic comedy to star Ludivine Sagnier (Beloved [trailer, film focus]) and Nicolas Bedos (noticed in Love Lasts Three Years [trailer]).
In the film's screenplay written by Vincent Angell, Antoine is a lawyer living in New York. On his way back to France for the final round of a job interview, Antoine finds himself sitting right next to his ex-girlfriend Julie. They broke up a few years ago over a misunderstanding. They haven’t seen each other at all since, and Julie is still very angry with him. But now, with a seven-hour flight ahead of them, they are going to have to speak to each other…
Produced by Mathieu Robinet and Julien Ralanto for the young production company Révérence Films, Love Is In The Air is to be co-produced by Manchester Films, Thelma Films, and Universal Pictures International France, who will also handle the film’s distribution in France next year. Shooting will be ongoing until mid-September in Paris, New York, and Toulouse. Kinology will handle the film’s international sales.
