Thirty-six-year-old Berlin-based director Julia von Heinz (Nothing Else Matters, Hanni & Nanni 2 [+see also:

) has started to shoot her third feature film Love Is Real.

The story, written by Von Heinz with her regular co-screenwriter John Quester, is set in Israel, Tel Aviv to be more precise, where Hannah (Karoline Schuch), 26, sets off to work to advance her career. Through his repeated provocations, Itaj, her contact there, will draw Hannah’s attention not only to the German debt towards his people but also to her own family history. Between them, other feelings will soon develop.

The film, produced by 2Pilots Filmproduction, has notably received support from the FFA. Filming, ongoing since the beginning of the month, is set to last until the beginning of December in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Cologne, and Munich. Love Is Real is set to be released in Germany in 2013.
