“A contemporary urban tale”

- The Franco-Belgian co-production, When You Descend From Heaven, a tale about true friendship and the French director's feature debut, is released in Belgium today.

Eric Guirado’s directorial feature debu, Quand tu descendras du ciel (When You Will Descend From Heaven) is out in Belgium today, 19 March, by courtesy of Imagine Film Distribution. Co-produced by Denis Delcampe for Belgium’s Need Productions, and produced by Harpo Films (France) together with Canal+ France and Rhônes-Alpes Cinéma, When You Will Descend From Heaven stars Benoît Giros, Anne Coesens, Jean-François Gallotte and Serge Riaboukine. It is the story of a young man called Jérôme who is forced to give up the family farm and seek gainful employment in the big city where he strikes up a friendship with a strong-willed and rather rude street person nicknamed “Le Chignole”. Jérôme’s problems begin when he gets his first job: ridding the urban streets of the unsightly homeless on the eve of the Christmas festivities...
