Lovers for Kinology at the AFM

Three new titles have joined the line-up of Kinology, the Parisian international sales agency headed by Grégoire Melin, soon to land ready for sales at the American Film Market (from October 31 to November 7). One of these titles is The Volcano (original title: Eyjafjallojökull), a new comedy directed by Alexandre Coffre and produced by Quad Films (who produced The Intouchables [+see also:

). Currently in post-production, the film (whose first images have enthused French exhibitors) recounts the misadventures of a divorced couple who hate each other. After the eruption of Icelandic volcano Eyjafjallojökull, they are forced to set off to Greece by road in order to arrive there on time for their daughter's wedding.

Also new to the line-up is Lovers, a seventh feature directed by Emmanuel Mouret (photo - change of address [+see also:

), Stéphane Freiss, and Ariane Ascaride. Produced by Frédéric Niedermayer for Moby Dick Films, this sentimental thriller in the same vein as François Truffaut's The Woman Next Door centres on a young world-famous female pianist who is inspired to play again by a man from a totally different background to hers. The problem is that he is not single...

Kinology, also to launch sales for Alexandre Castagnetti's Love Is In The Air at the AFM (read more), is to screen Pascal Chaumeil's Fly Me to the Moon (read more - another Quad Films production starring Dany Boon and Diane Kruger) for the first time worldwide. Other market screenings are to include Harmony Korine's Venice contender Spring Breakers and two Cannes titles, Michel Gondry's The We and the I and Alice Winocour's Augustine [+see also:

The line-up's 15 titles also include Edouard Deluc's Welcome to Argentina (in post-production - read more), Antonio Negret's Overdrive [+see also:

(in pre-production) and several films currently in production like Guillaume Vincent's 3D documentary Land of the Bears and the duo Andy Byatt - Cyril Barbançon's Hurricane, as well as Alexandre Heboyan and Benoît Philippon's ecological science-fiction animation feature Mune.
