Persbrandt and Dyrholm reunite for Christensen's Someone You Love

), for her new feature Someone You Love, which started principal photography yesterday.

The Sisse Graum Jørgensen and Vinca Wiedemann production for Zentropa Entertainments will film a seven-week schedule on Funen and Sealand. Jørgensen and Wiedeman also staged Christensen’s A Family (2010), which won the international critics’ FIPRESCI Prize in Berlin; her first feature, A Soap [+see also:

Scripted by Christensen and Kim Fupz AakesonSomeone You Love is the story of Thomas Jacob (Persbrandt), a world-famous singer-songwriter, based in Los Angeles, who travels back to Denmark to record a new album with his regular producer (Dyrholm). His grown-daughter (Birgitte Hjorth Sørensen) shows up with her 11-year-daugher Noa, whom Jacob never has met. Much against his will, he is forced to take care of Noa, and against all odds they slowly begin to connect through music.

Persbrandt’s next 2013 opening will be New Zealand director Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit – The Desolation of Smaug. Dyrholm is nominated for local prizes for both Love is All You Need and Nikolaj Arcel’s A Royal Affair [+see also:

. Christensens fourth feature, which will be domestically released on March 13, 2014, through Nordisk Film Distribution, will be co-produced by Zentropa International Sweden, Swedish and Danish regional film centres, Film i Väst and Filmfyn. Denmark’s TrustNordisk handles international sales.
