) and Mark Strong (Blood), the film tells the story of former criminal Jacob Sternwood (Strong) who is forced to return to London from his Icelandic hideaway when his son is involved in a heist gone wrong. His return gives detective Max Lewinsky (McAvoy) the chance to find the man he has long been after, a man who has caused him emotional and physical scarring. With the two men set on an unremitting collision course, they come across a deeper conspiracy that they will both need to solve in order to survive.

Shot entirely in London, on location and at 3 Mills Studios, Film London assisted the production. The film unfolds against the sleek and stylish chrome architecture that dominates the area around Canary Wharf and the Isle of Dogs, unseen by many visitors who come to London and some critics have even compared cinematographer Ed Wild’s visuals to Michael Mann’s imagery. “It was my intention to show a different side to London,” says Creevy.

The film is a co-production between UK companies Scott Free Productions and Between The Eyes, and US outfits Automatik Entertainment and Worldview Entertainment.
