“Counter Phrases” in Athens
Counter Phrases , a spectacular event that includes cinema, music and the dance is scheduled to take place at the Athens Town Hall on 27 March. The programme includes ten short films but Belgian composer and film director Thierry De Mey set to music by ten composers with ten dances choreographed by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and performed by Rosas.
These ten films, or “phrases”, encapsulate the best of Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Thierry de Mey’s collaboration and each was made using a different style and setting.
