- New collaboration to provide festivals with new way of evaluating submissions.

Eventival, the online festival information management system, and Black Market Online (BMO), the online content platform developed by the Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, have announced a collaboration to develop a film submission and evaluation solution for film festivals.

The agreement was made by Tomas Prasek, the  founder & director of Eventival, and Sten Saluveer, the Head of Development of BMO and the Industry Director of the Black Nights Film Festival. The full service will be rolled out in summer 2013. A demo will be available for potential clients during Cannes.

The new service will see the BMO's HD quality video submission and evaluation functionalities connected with Eventival's database solutions.

"Adding to the capabilities of Eventival  the option to submit and review films with video has always been on our mind, and I am glad that collaboration with a mature platform such as BMO will make it happen," said Prasek.

"Our in-depth expertise at BMO in technical development and festival management has resulted in a service that is able to cater to the specific needs of the festival and film industries, retaining a cutting edge feature pack whilst not sacrificing usability that is absolutely crucial in this business," added Saluveer.

Eventival and BMO will be available in Cannes at the European and Estonian pavilions for further inquiries.
