A return to crime movies for Hans Herbot

- Hans Herbot, Gert Van Rampelberg and Eyeworks launch themselves into a dense, cutting-edge thriller based on the successful novel The Treatment by British author Mo Hayder

On May 13th,Hans Herbot began the 40 days of filming of his new movie, De Behandling, in Antwerp. In control of prestigious television series like the European super-production The Spiral, and Het Goddelijke Monster, Hans Herbot has also distinguished himself on the big screen with action movies like Verlengd Weekend and Windkracht 10 (both based on TV series), as well as Bo, a more personal project.

The film follows the path of a detective, traumatized by the unsolved disappearance of his younger brother, and confronted by a case of pedophilia which revives old demons. The main character is played by Geert Van Rampelberg, well-know to Flemish spectators for his numerous roles on television and acclaimed in 2012 when he won the Ensor for Best Actor with Tot Altijd by Nic Balthazar.
