Amore Carne is coming out today in Paris with Le Films du Paradoxe. In France, Delbono has literally been praised by daily Le Monde, which dedicated an entire page to the film yesterday, including a mention on the front page. Critic Jacques Mandelbaum defines it  "a rabid film, lyrical, perturbing…. A passionate digression on death… A little film, rich in feeling, intuition and emotions… A Marie-Agnès Gillot film evoking grace and suffering together to the image of film itself: the elegant balance of a great living being suspended above death.”

Amore Carne stars Bobò, Irène Jacob, Marie-Agnès Gillot, Margherita Delbono, Sophie Calle, Marisa Berenson and Tilda Swinton and was produced by Pippo Delbono, Cinémathèque Suisse and Casa-Azul. The film, which was shot using a smartphone and a small camera, is a journey made up of unique moments, ordinary and extraordinary encounters, from the room of a hotel in Paris and another one in Budapest, through famous and non-famous witnesses who tell or dance their vision of the universe. Music is by Alexander Balanescu and Laurie Anderson.
