by

The 11th Le Court en dit long Festival, organised by the Walloon-Brussels Centre in Paris is scheduled to take place in the French capital from 27-31 May 2003. This annual event showcases some forty short films either produced or co-produced that same year in Walloon and Brussels. The genres vary from drama, animation, experimental films and documentaries, most of which have never been screened before in France. For the very first time this year there will be a competition with the following prizes up for grabs : best short film, screenplay and an audience award. On Thursday 29 May will showcase a retrospective of a decade of Belgian short films in five distinct programmes : children, adolescents, comedies, cult and adult films. Le Court en dit long will end on 31 May with the screening, starting at 21.00, of the Les Paniques series in its entirety written and directed by Belgian master-animators, Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier (Pic Pic André) both of whom will be present at this event.
